Engineering Area Manager

Renato has been an entitled Mechcanical Engineer since 1987; he has accrued broad and sound experience in a wide range of installation design: fire detection and extinguishing, water and sanitation installations, conditioning, gas production and distribution, civil and industrial electrical installations.

Within his activity – ranging from the industrial sector to healthcare, entertainment and educational fields – major projects include technological installations final proposal and supervision of works for the extension of surgical complex and associated services at Salus hospice in Trieste; the final proposal for Venezia’s refinery fire safety systems adjustment; thermotechnical systems design for Treviso’s municipal theatre restoration; tehcnological systems design for Alkrimya Shopping Center, in Libya.

He has collaborated with architects as Mario Botta, Gae Aulenti, Semerani and Tamaro; he has carried out Treviso’s former hospital – New University’s technological systems final design, under the supervision of arch. Portoghesi. About this assignment he published the chapter The district’s engine room in the book The University and the Latin Quarter in Treviso’s historical center, published by Portoghesi in 2006.

In 2010 he co-supervised the dissertation Energetic analysis of a geothermal system by Francesco Fedato under the supervision of prof. Roberto Zecchin. Since 2001 he has been fulfilling the role of sole director and technical manager of ACT Progetti, collaborating with WIP Engineering society, later absorbed by WiP, where he has been Engineering Area Manager since 2015.
